After each chemical cleaning, the pressure difference-based water production rate for ultrafiltration is quite good. Chemical cleaning can remove it; the water pressure after cleaning is 1.5 kilograms! But the operating cycle is extremely short – basically, in just 3 days the water pressure can rise to 3 kilograms! The water production volume decreases by roughly 20-30%, and chemical cleaning is required when the operation time is particularly short. Our ultrafiltration system is of the external pressure type; it is backwashed once per hour, with 10 backwash cycles in total. During one of these cycles, sodium hypochlorite is used to enhance the backwashing process. The air washing system is broken. Moreover, the turbidity of the water entering our system is very low, generally not exceeding 5. The conductivity of the incoming water is around 800.
