Sinopec Corporation has been granted a patent titled “A system for treating wastewater from hydrogen peroxide purification”, with the approval publication number CN 222715306 U; the application was filed in April 2024. The patent abstract indicates that this application relates to the fields of wastewater treatment and water-coal slurry gasification, and provides a system for treating wastewater generated during hydrogen peroxide purification. This system includes a methanol distillation tower, an HDP wastewater cooler, an HDP wastewater neutralization tank, a mixed wastewater preparation tank, a raw coal bin, a coal grinder, a coal slurry tank, and a gasification furnace. The methanol distillation tower is connected to the HDP wastewater cooler; the HDP wastewater cooler is connected to the HDP wastewater neutralization tank. A NaOH solution supply device is connected to the HDP wastewater neutralization tank, which in turn is connected to the mixed wastewater preparation tank. The mixed wastewater preparation tank is equipped with a benzene extraction residue supply device and a nitrogen supply device. An additive supply device, the raw coal bin, and the mixed wastewater preparation tank are all connected to the coal grinder. The coal grinder is connected to the coal slurry tank, which is then connected to the gasification furnace. This system enables the use of HDP wastewater instead of fresh water in the preparation of water-coal slurry, addressing the challenge of environmentally sound treatment of HDP wastewater while also enabling the reuse of this wastewater and reducing production costs.
