Between the two shut-off valves is the fuel gas for the pilot light of the heating furnace. I recall that there is a specification stating that the fuel gas for the pilot light must be located before the shut-off valves, in order to prevent the heating furnace from losing its pilot light protection in the event that the shut-off valves close accidentally. Let’s take a look to see if it’s correct.

Guess: There should be a drain valve between the two shut-off valves, in a DBB configuration. On the valves of the small-diameter pipelines, the limit indicator shows horizontal position to indicate a closed state.
Article 2.7 of the \"Guidelines for the Installation of Interlock Protection Systems in Tubular Heaters of Refining Units (Revised Edition)\\": The fuel gas used for the permanent light should be supplied separately from upstream of the fuel gas pressure control valve, and insulation and heat tracing should be provided. It is recommended that the fuel gas outlet for the everlasting light be located at a high point in the pipeline, and a liquid removal facility can be considered.
