Is wastewater that may produce chlorine gas considered to belong to Category A installations? Are explosion and fire prevention considerations necessary from a safety perspective? Are there any guidelines?
Chlorine is an oxidizing agent and belongs to Category B; it certainly can’t be classified as Category A
There are 5 items in Category B, and fire and explosion prevention certainly need to be taken into account.
If there are no flammable or explosive substances, only strongly oxidizing agents such as oxygen. Does chlorine also need to be protected from fire and explosion?
