Is it outdated equipment now? The liquid chlorine pump pumps liquid chlorine into the vaporizer – if a tubular vaporizer is used, how is it ensured that the liquid chlorine does not overflow from the vaporizer?
I’ve encountered this issue as well. With the kettle-type design, it is said that high temperatures can cause thermal expansion and contraction, which may damage the equipment; low temperatures, on the other hand, facilitate the accumulation of nitrogen trichloride. The China Chlor-Alkali Industry Association recommends the use of tube-type and coiled-tube full-vaporization processes, with the vaporization temperature of liquid chlorine needing to be no lower than 71°C. It is suggested to use hot water to maintain a temperature of 75–85°C. According to AQ3014—2008 “Technical Requirements for Safe Use of Liquid Chlorine,” warm water below 40°C refers to that used in kettle-type systems
