Regarding the drawing of steel-lined pipes, how can we ensure accuracy in the drawings, given the deviations between valve sizes, instrument sizes, etc., and the actual values? If the size of components like valves is determined arbitrarily, the length of the steel-lined pipe that results might deviate from the actual required value, leading to installation problems. How do you address this issue?

Plastic-lined pipe manufacturers specialize in plastic lining; they do not have the capability to pre-fabricate or weld pipes. On the other hand, installation companies have the ability to pre-fabricate and weld pipes but lack the skill for plastic lining. As a result, neither of these two types of companies is capable of independently completing the fabrication of steel pipes with plastic lining according to the designs. It can only be accomplished through cooperation between upstream and downstream manufacturers.

In other words, the length of the components is determined entirely based on the values given in the material list
The valve length still needs to be determined by referring to samples or based on feedback from the client. As for the precise design and installation of lined pipes, it is difficult to achieve this; it might be advisable to leave adjustment blocks of 50 mm in each of the XYZ directions. Adjust the length of the block according to the actual situation during installation.

Secondly, flanges need to be welded at both ends of the steel lining pipe ; Thirdly, both ends of different steel-lined pipes are marked with unique pipe section numbers to facilitate connection between upstream and downstream sections; they cannot be substituted for each other.
The second floor is correct; it’s very difficult to achieve precise installation during the drawing phase of steel-lined pipes. During piping, several short pipes are usually used to facilitate adjustments on site. When actual installation takes place, the construction team connects all the pipes using steel tubes first, and then removes that last section to have it lined by the manufacturer.
The current approach is to first produce the pipe section drawings, then send them to the manufacturer for secondary design; following on-site installation and construction, certain adjustments are made, after which lining is applied, ensuring that the majority of the plastic lining work is carried out off-site.
Try to use standard lengths, such as 2 meters per section, 1 meter per section, 250 meters per section, or 500 meters per section; this way there won’t be too many problems
