Discharge issue of the thickener

Dear experts, I have salt-containing organic wastewater with a COD level of 11,000 and a salt content of 4%-5%, mainly in the form of potassium sulfate. Since a centrifuge is not used to separate the salt, another type of equipment is employed for this purpose. Is it necessary to use a thickener? What is approximately the solid content of the material produced by the thickener?
Ask me about getting a centrifuge; manual shaking will do for now, after all, the solid content is so low – it’s just a small amount of solid material
Can cooling water be added to the thickener? Can it be cooled?
