The crude oil pipeline has leaked, and the oil has flowed down the mountain for a long distance. It’s not possible to repair the pipeline at the moment. 1. Determine which pipeline is leaking by closing the valve closest to the leak site and then observing the pressure drop on the pressure gauge. 2.
