Is there a specified source for the HAZOP analysis to be conducted every three years? It can’t possibly be an industry convention
The triennial HAZOP analysis is based on the international standard IEC 61882-2001 “HAZOP Analysis”. This standard specifies the basic principles, steps, scope of application, and interpretation of results for HAZOP analysis. It also states that the frequency of HAZOP analysis should be determined based on the level of risk and process changes, but it does not specify a fixed frequency of once every three years for such analyses. Therefore, the specific frequency of HAZOP analysis should be determined based on the actual conditions of different industries and enterprises. .
I’m working on this thing right now. If I remember correctly, it should be the content of the third heading in Document No. San【2013】88 issued by the General Administration of Work Safety.
