Are there any simple valves on the large air ducts to regulate airflow, something other than large butterfly valves?
No butterfly valves – just those ordinary air regulation valves?
Large air ducts are equipped with a simple valve for adjusting airflow, known as a control valve. A regulating valve is a manually operated valve, usually made of metal, through which the volume of air flow can be adjusted by rotating the valve. It is more suitable for large duct systems, as it allows for easy adjustment of air volume; however, compared to butterfly valves, the adjustment range of this control valve may be narrower. The final choice of valve type should be determined based on the specific duct dimensions and requirements. .
To adjust the air volume, an air damper can be used or a frequency converter can be added to the fan
Dampers are easy to purchase, right? Air control valve for boiler flues: The valve disc is composed of multiple conical blades, with a shaft running through the center, and an annular pull ring on the outside of the housing. The pull ring is actuated by an electric actuator that moves the pull rod; the electric actuator can also be switched to manual mode for operation via hand cranking. When such valves are used for a long time or do not operate for extended periods, they are prone to rusting and getting stuck, requiring disassembly and cleaning. Agree with what was said above; if air flow needs to be adjusted frequently, it’s best to use an inverter on the fan, with the air control valve serving as a backup (kept open most of the time).
Difference between air duct butterfly valves and air duct baffles
Can’t use a segmented grid? If airtightness is required, then use a mushroom valve.
