According to the current requirements, the workshop is not allowed to have high-level storage tanks connected to the tank area. The reason is that the current detailed specification 5.5.1 sets requirements for the installation of storage tanks within the factory building: they must be arranged in a centralized manner, and there are specified distances between them. It’s equivalent to no. To determine whether this tank is a workshop tank, it depends on whether the material pipelines come from the tank area; therefore, it’s a dead end with no way forward. For substances similar to liquid caustic, there are 20 usage points in a single workshop, and the quantities vary; it is difficult to achieve proper control over the production process by feeding materials directly from storage tanks, and even if such control is possible, it would be very complex to set it up.

This can actually be avoided; most companies have regional intermediate tanks to enable two-level interlocking. Moreover, if liquid is pumped directly from the tank area to the workshop, it depends on how the design team defines the relationship between the storage tanks and the metering equipment. Just like our liquid caustic and sulfuric acid, there are intermediate tanks in each workshop from where they are then distributed to various stations within those workshops.

There are over 300 meters from the raw material storage area to our workshop usage point, which makes it a bit difficult to control production.
Why can’t it be set? It’s complete nonsense. You can’t place raw material storage tanks similar to those used in tank farms inside the workshop, but you can install equipment there to prepare the materials yourself. It’s okay to add materials coming from the tank farm to the reaction equipment after they have been measured in measuring tanks! If it’s really not possible to add one, consider other measurement methods, such as using a flow meter and shut-off valve in the pipeline
