A scraper conveyor is used to transport raw coal; when the coal is being sent to bin A, a small amount of it also makes its way to bin B. Which expert has experience in this area regarding preventing coal from leaking into Bin B?

Do not use the scraper on the belt as a method for the final distribution of coal into the silos; instead, you can create a two-way funnel with one inlet and two outlets, and install a shutoff valve in between.

Our two boilers are in the same situation. Two furnaces, two coal bins, about ten meters apart, with a horizontal belt; the height available for the bin space is not sufficient. The coal bin is at a high level, with 0.5 meters reserved (for two spans of a ladder). Make two passive B-furnace scrapers, and adjust the gap as much as possible to reduce coal leakage. When Furnace B is in operation, the scraper of Furnace A is not lowered; instead, the coal is carried directly from the belt idler wheel into the coal bin. Since the amount that leaks out is very small, the feed bin of Furnace A will not fill up in about half a year. There was concern that the large amount of fine coal would affect combustion. A trolley was attached below the tail wheel outlet to manually transport the material back to Bin B, but this idea was later abandoned. I can tolerate a small amount of coal leakage; I would only consider using two belts with baffles if that level of leakage becomes unacceptable.
