May I ask what are the websites and platforms where MSDS documents for substances can be downloaded for free?
The free download of a substance’s MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is available through the following websites or platforms: 1. ChemSafetyPro (a website specialized in chemical safety), 2. Sigma-Aldrich, 3. Fisher Scientific, 4. SGS MSDS (SGS Safety Data Sheets), 5. MSDSonline (an online service for accessing safety data sheets). On these websites, the corresponding MSDS information can usually be found by searching for the substance’s name or CAS number. Some manufacturers’ official websites also offer a service for downloading the MSDS of their products. .
For the Chinese version of MSDS in China, ChemicalBook (https://www.chemicalbook.com/ProductIndex.aspx) is available; it provides information on many substances. Unfortunately, however, information on chemicals that are easy to use in drug production, highly toxic substances, and explosives is not displayed there. Aladdin (https://www.aladdin-e.com/zh_cn/) can also be used to find information on many substances.
Common substances that are classified as those easily used to manufacture drugs, highly toxic, or prone to explosion cannot be found on ChemicalBook; Baidu Baike can be used instead, as it provides comprehensive information on their physical properties and toxicity.
