Is there a difference between the northward reference on the equipment layout diagram and that on the overall plan?
In principle, the north arrow on the equipment layout diagram should be consistent with the north arrow on the overall plan, both indicating the northern direction on the drawing. However, since equipment layout diagrams usually show only a partial area, their north indicators may be adjusted according to the specific layout for better visibility and understanding, whereas the north indicator on a general plan typically indicates the north direction of the entire facility or project site. So there may be differences in practical application, but theoretically they should point in the same direction. .
The orientation in the north direction should be consistent; otherwise, what if the angle of the equipment is set incorrectly? Additionally, other specialized components need to be connected as well.
