A scrubbing system is a system used in the chemical industry to capture and treat volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other harmful gases. This system generally uses equipment such as fans, pipes, and adsorption units to collect and purify the gases generated during the process. It applies not only to mixed gases but also to single-gas components. .
Based on the properties of polymers and extensive experience in the use of static mixers and high-efficiency heat exchangers, single-stage or multi-stage devolatilization processes are designed. The key equipment in these processes includes heat exchangers equipped with mixing elements, mixers, and high-efficiency distributors, all aimed at improving product quality and reducing operating costs. Thanks to the special design of the equipment, it has no effect whatsoever on the properties of the polymer produced during the polymerization process; moreover, it can effectively remove impurities to meet both production and environmental requirements.
The principle of devolatilization technology is to rapidly and uniformly heat the polymer to a certain temperature, and/or to add additives to the polymer that facilitate the escape of volatiles; thereafter, the polymer is evenly dispersed in a separation tank, allowing the volatiles to separate from the main body of the polymer.
