(hereinafter referred to as “Puhé Green Carbon”). This company is focused on developing pressurized fluidized-bed biomass gasification technology; through innovative applications of green methanol technology, it aims to promote diversification in the energy structure and contribute to achieving the **“dual carbon” goals**. On December 17, the biomass pressurized fluidized bed pilot plant SUGET pure-oxygen pressurized fluidized bed biomass gasifier, manufactured by Uwagio Green Carbon, was successfully lifted into place, laying a solid foundation for the smooth construction and stable operation of subsequent facilities. It is understood that this device is the biomass fluidized bed gasifier in China with the highest operating pressure of 2.0 Mpa; it has a feed capacity of 100 tons per day and can supply 10,000 tons per year of green syngas required for methanol production in downstream facilities. During the development of the device, Zhongsheng Technology, leveraging its professional R&D capabilities and extensive engineering experience, was deeply involved in the further refinement and design of the device’s process package. Thanks to its unique fluidization structure, length-to-diameter ratio of the furnace, feeding method, and other special designs, the gasification furnace enables operation at higher bed temperatures when processing the same biomass material. This results in a longer residence time for the biomass, lower levels of tar at the outlet, and a higher carbon conversion rate. It also features advantages such as a relatively short process flow, low investment costs, and low energy consumption. This pilot project has been included in the “2024 Science and Technology Guidance Plan of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation”.
