The purpose of the exhaust pipe is to vent the volatile gases from the zero-level discharge tank. As shown in Figure 2, the inlet pipe of the large storage tank is inserted into the bottom of the tank; once liquid fills the tank, a liquid seal is formed, and as a result, the exhaust pipe at the zero level cannot discharge air. Even if the inlet pipe is not completely sealed, it is not recommended to make any changes. Because the pipe has a downward bend, there are dead corners. For reference! When working with producer gas, there have been accidents of flash explosions occurring when welding was carried out in dead corners at the inlet pipe of the compressor that could not be accessed.
