On March 25, the first disclosure of information regarding the environmental impact assessment for the Liaoning Dingjide petrochemical products testing facility project was made. Project Name: Liaoning Dingjide Petrochemical Products Verification Unit Project. Location: The project is situated in the Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone. Scope and Scale of Construction: Using ethylene, hydrogen, etc. as raw materials and hexane as a solvent, this project involves the construction of a POE production facility with an annual capacity of 200 tons, covering an area of 765 square meters ； On-site cabinet room, with an area of 429 square meters ； Substation: 199.5 square meters, analysis shed: 14 square meters ； The total floor area is approximately 1,578.5 square meters, with an expected annual production of 200 tons of POE. Construction unit: Liaoning Dingjide Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. The projects that Dingjide is working on include: Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the POE high-end new materials project, 200,000 tons per year MMA and 100,000 tons per year PMMA production projects, as well as a project for producing 100 tons per year of high-end polyolefin catalysts. In November 2024, Liaoning Dingjide Petrochemical Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 100 tons per year of high-end polyolefin catalysts was approved for registration. On January 20, 2025, the construction projects for Dingjide’s 200,000 tons per year MMA and 100,000 tons per year PMMA production facilities were signed simultaneously. Dingjide Group will initiate the construction of four projects, including the second-phase project as well as projects for the production of 200,000 tons per year of methyl methacrylate and 100,000 tons per year of polymethyl methacrylate, keeping investment, industry, research and development, technology, and innovation all on Changxing Island. The first phase of Dingjide’s POE high-end new materials project involves the construction of a 200,000 tons/year POE production facility, a 300,000 tons/year α-olefin production facility, and a 400 Nm³/h hydrogen production plant using electrolysis ； Phase 2 mainly involves the construction of a 200,000-ton/year POE complex and a 300,000-ton/year α-olefin plant. Phase 1 is expected to come online in September 2025, while Phase 2 is planned to be operational by the end of 2027. The construction site of the Dingjide Petrochemical High-End New Materials project, with a total investment of over 12 billion yuan, is bustling with activity as work proceeds at full pace. To date, 3.3 billion yuan has been invested in fixed asset purchases, and the construction of pile foundations, concrete structures, civil engineering elements, primary utility pipes, as well as the steel structures for utility tunnels has been completed ； Large-scale equipment is being delivered and lifted gradually; over 90% of the stationary and moving equipment has been installed, and equipment testing will take place by the end of March this year.
