Steam flow distribution problem

Is the gas flow rate in the multiple outlet branches the same whether the steam distribution cylinder is placed horizontally or vertically? Why? How can it be obtained through calculation?
I personally feel that there is an impact, but it shouldn’t be significant! Otherwise, how can we explain the law of conservation of energy?
The main problem is the high levels of loss, with various user units being uncooperative and refusing to take responsibility
When standing upright, the dryness of the steam coming out from the bottom is significantly lower.
Objectively speaking, it does have an impact; it depends on whether it is superheated steam or saturated steam, as the dryness degree differs
It is usually placed horizontally to facilitate pipeline layout; as for losses, there shouldn’t be much difference!
