Beijing Henergy Times Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Li Weifeng, a professor at East China University of Science and Technology, and Tianchen Company were among those present at the signing ceremony. Wang Cong, Zhang Yunzhi, and Li Weifeng delivered speeches on behalf of the respective parties involved in the cooperation. All parties involved in this cooperation agree that, by leveraging their respective strengths in this partnership, they can use the residual materials from the cellulose ethanol production process as raw material to produce biomass slurry through specialized processes. This slurry meets all the requirements for feeding into existing water-coal slurry gasification processes. On this basis, a complete industrial solution for the wet gasification of green methanol has been developed, enabling the integration of biomass fermentation and gasification technologies. This approach facilitates the simultaneous production of green methanol and green ethanol. It addresses various issues present in other green methanol production methods, such as high production costs, high chlorine content in traditional biomass gasification, and difficulties in maintaining continuous operation of the equipment. It thus provides a new pathway for the low-cost, large-scale, and continuous production of green methanol. This technology represents the progress and direction of gasification technology; it is not only a significant innovative breakthrough in this field but also has a substantial impact on **energy security strategies and the upgrading process of the chemical industry. The signing of this cooperation agreement marks a significant step forward in the tripartite collaboration. The three parties have established a long-term, stable, mutually trusting, and win-win strategic partnership. With a spirit of sincere cooperation, they will join forces to leverage the best resources available in their respective fields, working together to advance research and development as well as the joint promotion of technologies for producing green methanol alongside green cellulose ethanol.
