Chemical plant pipelines are constantly a hassle due to rust, especially at the welds, and maintenance is difficult. Stainless steel tape is used; after cleaning the surface, it can be applied simply – the process is easy. It is resistant to acids, alkalis, and corrosion; no problems have occurred since it was installed almost a year ago, which saves a lot of maintenance effort. Friends who face similar issues might want to give it a try.
It does seem convenient to attach it, but will it be easy to clean if it needs to be replaced in the future?
Apply stickers separately to the flanges; remove them when needed. Is it necessary to rust-remove and measure the thickness of the corroded pipes before applying the stickers, so as to facilitate future inspection? Asking a beginner here
