MIIT recommends 10 energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies for the petrochemical industry

On December 15, the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the **Recommended Catalogue of Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reduction Technologies and Equipment in the Industry and Information Technology Sectors (2025 Edition)**, which covers three categories: industrial energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies, information technology-related energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies, and high-efficiency energy-saving equipment. There are 10 energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies in the petrochemical industry, namely: salt-containing multi-component solvent separation technology, coal-fired catalysts, composite crystallization membrane technology for refining and chemical processing heating furnaces, high-throughput heat exchange technology, hydraulically driven stepless air volume control systems, nanomaterials for energy savings in high-temperature furnaces, high-purity melting crystallization technology, ozone advanced oxidation, industrial energy-saving technologies using nanogel materials, and water-based microbial treatment of cuttings for soil utilization.
