Shenyang New Materials Pilot Platform selected as one of the first **-level platforms

On December 11, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of the first batch of **-level manufacturing pilot platforms. The “Chemical New Materials Pilot Testing Platform” at Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technology, which is part of Shenyang Chemical Industry Research Institute, was successfully selected and became one of the first seven **-level pilot testing platforms in the petrochemical industry. Positioned as a comprehensive platform for chemical engineering research and pilot testing, it features a 12,000-square-meter pilot plant and 11 specialized production lines. It offers services covering the entire process, including process development, safety assessment, environmental impact evaluation, and small-scale production. It can meet the pilot testing needs in six major fields such as electronic chemicals and high-performance polymers, with its independently developed products reaching a leading level in China. Focusing on the development of key technologies, the platform has successfully achieved stable mass production of domestic high-end pigment pastes and their replacement in the market. It has also developed high-end thermoplastic elastomers SEPS that meet international advanced standards, which are now being used on a large scale in areas such as lubricants.
