Industrial production mainly employs the chlorohydrin method, co-oxidation methods (PO/SM, PO/TBA), and direct oxidation method (HPPO). The chlorohydrin process is mature but faces significant environmental pressures ； Co-oxidation for the co-production of styrene or tert-butanol offers good economic viability but involves a complex process ； The HPPO method uses hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant, features high atom efficiency and few by-products, and represents a direction for green development. The core reaction is propylene epoxidation, involving key technologies such as reactor design, catalyst development, and product separation.
