Operated with funding from Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., the company aims to implement the guidelines set out at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee regarding the establishment of a number of industry-wide technical platforms. It seeks to accelerate the development of proof-of-concept and pilot-scale testing platforms, facilitate the transition of scientific and technological achievements from the laboratory to production lines for commercialization, foster original technological innovation, improve the quality and reliability of technical products, and contribute to achieving high levels of self-reliance in petroleum engineering technology, thereby supporting the high-quality development of the upstream oil and gas sector. Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Research and Testing Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2025 and located in Dezhou City, Shandong Province, is a company focused on research and experimental development. The registered capital of the company is 100 million RMB.
