The mainstream manufacturing process for oxide electrolytes (such as LLZO) is the solid-state reaction method: raw materials such as Li₂CO₃, La₂O₃, and ZrO₂ are ground and mixed in a stoichiometric ratio, and then sintered at high temperatures of 900–1200°C to form a dense garnet structure, with key control being the intergranular impedance. Sulfide electrolytes (such as Li₆PS₅Cl) are prepared using a two-step process of mechanical ball milling followed by heat treatment: high-energy ball milling is used to amorphize raw materials such as Li₂S and P₂S₅, after which heat treatment at 300–500°C is carried out to form a cristobalite crystal structure; the entire process must be conducted in an argon glove box. Polymer electrolytes are formed by dissolving lithium salts (such as LiTFSI) in a PEO matrix via solution casting. The core of the synthesis process lies in achieving high ionic conductivity (>10⁻³ S/cm), low interfacial resistance, and good electrochemical stability.
