There is a 2\" pipeline that requires heating to maintain a temperature of 0°C. The coldest temperatures in the northeast can reach minus 30 degrees Celsius. The length of this pipeline is around 1200 meters. Currently, hot water heating and electric heating are being considered as options for heating; which method is better? Additionally, there are no hot water pipelines in the pipe rack, so one would need to be installed. How should the load requirements be taken into account?
Electric heating is recommended for the outer pipe gallery, as it allows for precise temperature control, keeping it at 0 degrees. The heat tracing effect of water is relatively inferior to that of electric heat tracing

There are many types of electric heating elements, such as heating wires and heating strips, with varying prices and quality levels; simply choose one that suits your needs
Are the maintenance costs for electric heating high? If it gets damaged, replacing it is very troublesome.
