Recently, the production line of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical’s 350,000 tons per year polypropylene plant No. 2 completed the switch to a new grade, successfully producing the new medical-grade polypropylene product H7020. This marks new progress by the company in the field of high-end medical polyolefins. H7020 is a specialized polypropylene material for oral solid medicine bottles, meeting the standards related to pharmaceutical packaging materials. At present, the first batch of 100 tons of material has been blended and successfully taken off the production line, with all specifications meeting the required standards. During this product development phase, Quanzhou Petrochemical targeted the domestic demand for high-end medical packaging materials, aiming to provide the industry with reliable domestically produced alternatives. To this end, the equipment team developed a specialized transition plan, outlining the key points for process control, operational standards, and safety precautions, in order to ensure stable production operations and consistent product quality.
