Is it reasonable to install combustible gas detectors at the exhaust outlets of initial rainwater tanks?

A combustible gas alarm has been installed at the exhaust outlet of the initial rainwater tank of the newly built facility; this can, to a certain extent, help indicate the accumulation of combustible gases in the tank. But theoretically, most combustible gases that can accumulate are heavier than air; if combustible gases are detected at the outlet, does that mean the combustible gases in the tank have overflowed? It’s truly terrifying to think about – does the fact that no flammable gas has leaked out mean that an explosive mixture has already formed in the tank? However, if an alarm device is installed in the tank, it will be damaged once the liquid level rises. Therefore, I would like to ask the experts out there: how do you set up initial rainwater tanks in your systems?
The key is to check whether there are flammable chemicals in the area; if so, they need to be installed, usually at a height of 20–30 centimeters above the top edge of the water storage tank.
There shouldn’t be any standard requirements for this, right? I think this goes a bit too far, and it’s doubtful whether it will actually work; on top of that, it costs money, so I’m not in favor of it.
