I’m seeking advice from everyone: when using formaldehyde in a factory, should it be detected as a flammable gas or as a toxic gas? According to the standards, it should be detected as a toxic gas. What is the detection range for toxic gases? According to the standards, it should be very low – the measurement range is around 10 ppm; the alarm level is set at 5 ppm already. What type of toxic gas detector is capable of achieving such precision? How is the factory performing? Do you call the police often?

It must be set at a toxic level; refer to GB50493-2009 for the set value. The alarm value is 100% of the maximum allowable concentration, which is 3 mg/m3.
The question is: if the alarm threshold is 3 mg/m3, what type of sensor should be used for measurement? Are there any devices on the market that can measure such a small range?
