We suspect that there are errors in the measured real-time flow rate, and we are wondering if there is such a instrument that can be connected directly to the high and low pressure ports of the throttle apparatus, allowing the real-time flow rate to be displayed on the instrument Is this the instrument?
If measuring mass flow rate, temperature and pressure compensation is still required
With a V-shaped cone, there’s no need to worry about steam blowing off the cone tip
If the temperature is below 450°C, considering using Yokogawa’s vortex street meter from Shanghai is an option
Aren’t all differential pressure flow meters like this? Pressure is measured on both sides of the throttling element, and the differential pressure transmitter calculates the differential pressure; some instruments can perform compensation and then output the flow signal directly, while most output the differential pressure, with the system’s backend performing a square root calculation to determine the flow rate
Do you mean to replace the transmitter? Are you suspecting a fault with the transmitter? Then it’s possible to replace the transmitter or something; it could also be due to uneven levels of the isolating medium in the balance tank. It is recommended to use a vortex flow meter for steam
There are safety hazards. V-cone flowmeters should be used with caution under high temperature and pressure; orifice plates, nozzles, etc. can be alternatives.
For high-pressure steam, only nozzles can be used; the V-cone is likely to be blown away.
