Can the control system cabinet doors be made of transparent glass?

The cabinet doors for control systems from various manufacturers are made of metal materials. I would like to ask if there are any regulatory requirements regarding this? Can transparent glass material be used? Some electrical cabinet doors currently use transparent glass, allowing a clear view inside; I think this is great. Moreover, instrument cabinets rarely house high-power electronic devices.
I think it has something to do with interference prevention
It is mainly for fire and explosion prevention, and ordinary glass cannot be used for the transparent parts either.
Agree with the comment above; the electrical engineering field mainly deals with high-voltage systems, which have strong resistance to interference. The signals in the control system are all low-voltage signals. Grounding measures against interference are in place for both the field instruments, junction boxes, connection wires and raceways, as well as the cabinets, to ensure the proper operation of the system. During normal production, mobile phones and walkie-talkies are not allowed inside most cabinet rooms to prevent signal interference.
I talked to the DCS manufacturer about this, and they also didn’t provide any specific answers.
Of course that’s possible; the network cabinets in control systems usually have glass doors, while it doesn’t seem necessary to have such doors on other cabinets. The glass door is still there so that indicators and the like inside the cabinet can be viewed, right?
