Process parameters: Pipe diameter DN25, medium: natural gas, pressure: 0.1 Mpa, flow rate in use: 2.95 m3/H. What type of flow meter should be used? It’s better to choose foreign brands. Vortex flow meters can’t be used; I’ve already asked for advice. The turbine doesn’t work either.
For standard orifice plates, when the medium is clean, a Rosemount target flowmeter can be used
Turbines should work, as well as ultrasonic devices with built-in orifice plates; rotors should also be suitable. Turbines offer the best precision
Regarding turbines, domestic manufacturers claim that they are available, but foreign manufacturers such as RMG Rotok no longer produce 1-inch turbines. My flow rate is too low, so it’s impossible to find turbines of that size; domestic instruments are not an option either
You didn’t see my data correctly: it’s a 1-inch pipe with a flow rate of 2.96 m3/H. This isn’t something that can be measured using orifice plates; vortex flow meters or ultrasonic sensors can handle such low flow rates, but conventional instruments are unable to measure flows this small
This flow rate seems too low; it’s difficult to choose a flow meter for it
There is also heat mass, if the components are stable
Try using a thermal mass flow meter
