For solid waste treatment, where the pH of the chelating agent is around 12, which type of density meter and pH meter would be suitable for measurement? (The density meter and pH meter are installed on the tank, with the 4-20MA measurement values transmitted to the PLC.)
If it is to be installed on the tank, a tuning fork densitometer is more suitable; however, for more accurate measurements, it is best to use a mass flow meter to determine density. For pH meters, it is best to use composite electrodes in your application. It is not recommended to install them on the tank, as this makes maintenance difficult; instead, it is advisable to use a pressure lead connection
For media with such a high alkalinity, it is best to use a mass flow meter for measurement. Additionally, the accuracy of a fork-type density meter is not as high as that of a mass flow meter; a pH meter will suffice. Make sure to select an appropriate bracket and provide proper protection
