High-pressure gauge for mandatory inspection

Are there any regulations regarding how to determine which pressure gauges are subject to mandatory inspection? There are too many inspections these days; today it’s said that this particular pressure gauge falls under the category of those requiring mandatory inspection, and tomorrow another one is said to belong to the same category. It’s all confusing for me. I would appreciate some guidance from everyone – thank you!

Article 9 of the Metrology Law specifies the scope of measuring instruments subject to mandatory inspection, namely those used in safety protection, environmental monitoring, healthcare, and trade settlement, and which are included in the **List of Measuring Instruments Subject to Mandatory Inspection**. Whether a pressure gauge should be included in the scope of mandatory inspection depends on whether it is used for these four purposes.

The regulations outlined in the metrology laws are too general and lack specificity. For example, regarding the pressure gauges on our loading pipelines, we think they don’t fall under those regulations, but the safety inspection department believes they do; yet we can’t provide any evidence to support our view, which is quite confusing. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

(for example: Bourdon tube pressure gauges, electric remote transmission pressure gauges, and electric contact pressure gauges).
