Most of our vortex flowmeters exhibit large fluctuations and poor accuracy; attempts by the instrument technician to calibrate them were unsuccessful, and he said they were damaged and would need to be repaired after production stopped. Do you have any experience in handling this successfully? Was it caused by steam carrying liquid?
Which company manufactured it? Try to choose imported products.
There aren’t many good domestic vortex flowmeters available, and fluctuations are quite normal
When it comes to repairing instruments on a regular basis, the vortex flow meter is the most troublesome one – it’s difficult to work on for repairs. If you think the instrument isn’t broken, the process requirements dictate that its measurements are inaccurate; but if you assume it is broken, in reality it isn’t broken. The technicians said you don’t know anything, and you can’t argue back – this kind of watch really can’t be repaired. Steam carrying water can cause inaccuracies. A small dielectric constant can cause inaccuracy. On-site interference can cause inaccuracies. Deviations from the calculated pressure and temperature can lead to inaccuracies. If it goes crazy, that too will cause inaccuracy. If you ignore it, it will be fine after a while; but if you spend every day fixing it, it will become increasingly inaccurate.
Vortex flow meters truly cannot be repaired; all that can be done with these instruments is to check whether the objective conditions are met, such as whether the power supply is functioning properly, etc. Additionally, it’s necessary to disassemble the device and check whether there is any dirt stuck to the triangular prisms. Under normal circumstances, vortex flow meters of imported or joint-venture brands are chosen; those made in China that I have used tend to break down easily. I was wondering if anyone knows of any brands that are entirely domestically produced and can be used stably over a long period of time
Indeed, a normal watch should be maintenance-free; once it breaks, it’s very difficult to repair
Vortex flowmeters are highly susceptible to environmental vibrations
The cause can also be investigated during installation, such as checking whether there is vibration in the straight sections at the front and back
Fully agree. Vibrations of the pipe supports and the pipes themselves can directly affect the values....
Weihai Weiliu vortex street flow meters are quite good; many manufacturers use them for OEM production
Supporting what was said upstairs is really tragic
