No way, vortex flow meters cannot measure negative flow rates
The poster’s question is odd – vortex flow meters are unable to measure flow rates below 5 m/s (for gases); in such cases the reading should be 0, so there’s no way a negative value can occur. Unless you have installed a low-quality, cheap watch
There is no concept of negative traffic values; I don’t know where that idea comes from. Does it indicate the direction of flow?
Can’t the measurement range be negative? Where did the original poster see it? Could they send a picture for everyone to see?

The measurement range does not include negative values. If a negative value appears in the measurement, it is usually due to a faulty gauge; if the negative value is very small, it might be zero drift.
Vortex flowmeters of different sizes have varying flow range capabilities. For example: The flow range of a DN100 vortex flow meter is 150–1700 m3/h. The smaller the diameter, the lower the lower limit, but negative values will not be measured.
