Is there a flow meter that looks similar to a handheld infrared thermometer?

Portable ultrasonic flow meters require accessories to be installed on the pipeline; are there any flow meters that look similar to handheld infrared thermometers? Just shake the tube and you can measure the flow rate of the gas inside? :) It is mainly used for measuring gases. Could anyone recommend it? Is it possible with today’s level of technology?
It seems not; the most convenient one is the external clamp-type ultrasonic flow meter
I’ve never heard of this type of gauge before; has anyone seen it or used it? Please share some information on it
There are only portable external-attachment ultrasonic flowmeters, but their accuracy is not particularly high when measuring gases; for liquids, they can achieve an accuracy of 1–3%, while the accuracy is much lower for gases due to numerous influencing factors. .
As for measuring gas flow in real time, humans have not yet reached such a level of technology. Even the so-called external-clamping gas ultrasonic flowmeters available abroad are complex to install and come with many limitations, making them practically unusable in ordinary gas pipeline installations. In short, the atmosphere at the site is mostly at normal pressure, and ultrasonic signals experience severe attenuation when installed in a clamped configuration.
