Do the engineer stations for SIS and DCS have to be on two host computers? Are there any regulatory requirements?
There doesn’t seem to be any standard regulation for this. For CNOOC’s offshore platforms, the Yokogawa DCS and SIS share the same computer. It’s best to conduct your own assessment to determine whether a breakdown of this computer would affect production.
The system scale is not large, so it can be shared; there are no strict requirements, but it is not recommended.
