Issues with the communication cable between the notebook and the S7 300/400

I have an old serial communication cable that was used to connect an old laptop to an S7 300. The new laptop doesn’t have a serial port; it only has PC Express ports. Could anyone recommend a PC Express-to-serial port card that can be installed in the new laptop, so that the old communication cable can still be used to connect to the PLC?

Well, a laptop isn’t definitely used 24 hours a day. So it’s completely fine to use a USB converter. If used for 24 hours, I didn’t say so.
