When the electromagnetic flowmeter is not fully filled with fluid, the output signal should be 4mA; the standard signal range is usually 4-20mA. An output of 0 may indicate a circuit board fault or an issue with the internal settings – check according to the instructions
It depends on the specific manufacturer; Yokogawa provides an air traffic control alarm output of 22mA
Check your settings to see whether, in the event of a fault, it will indicate the lower limit (0mA) or the full scale value (22mA). Also, look at what error message is displayed on the gauge; generally, circuit faults or open circuits will result in corresponding alerts. However, with non-full pipes, the output fluctuates significantly for some meters.
The requirement varies from one company to another; normally it ranges from 4 to 20, and any value outside this range is considered abnormal. In the case of a non-full pipe, some flow meters do not carry out any monitoring at all and output flow values as if the pipe were full, resulting in inaccurate measurements.
It has air traffic control pricing, and it also gives an alarm when the electrodes become dirty; this is a Yokogawa flow meter! I don’t know about any other circumstances!
