Online analytical instruments need to operate continuously 24 hours a day, and micro pumps are key components in these systems, requiring high durability and reliability. The selection of the pump is very important for the stable operation of the system. We conducted tests on various micro-pumps available on the market under heavy load and for extended periods of time. In terms of lifespan and reliability, foreign brands such as KNF perform very well; among domestic products, only Qihai’s micro-pumps meet the required standards. Ultimately, to strike a balance between performance and cost, we opted for imported micro pumps for the most demanding operating conditions, while the vast majority of products use domestic Qi Hai micro pumps. A diversified configuration not only meets customers’ various performance requirements but also reduces their purchase costs. When selecting instrument accessories, priority is given to meeting performance requirements, while also taking price into account, in order to enhance reliability and improve cost-effectiveness.
A pump is a moving component that wears out over time and has a limited service life; when it breaks, it needs to be replaced with a new one. Alternatively, after the pump has been in use for a certain number of hours, it also needs to be replaced. As for online analysis, taking a sample requires some time interval as well – it probably takes a few minutes for the data to be updated .
