(1) To address the issue of improper installation, before installing an orifice plate flow meter, it is essential to thoroughly understand the conditions of the steam (design temperature, design pressure, etc.), the conditions of the pipes, those of the pressure tapping elements, and those of the sensors. Based on the installation specifications for orifice plate flow meters, an accurate installation plan should be developed. When installing an orifice plate flowmeter, it is necessary to follow the installation plan strictly. After installing the orifice flow meter, it is necessary to regularly inspect all the mounting components to ensure measurement accuracy. (2) To address issues such as untimely maintenance or misoperations, it is necessary to regularly check the positional accuracy of the components of the orifice plate flow meter, especially those used for sample extraction, to ensure that the differential pressure displayed by the differential pressure sensor corresponds to the actual differential pressure measured by the orifice plate. When operating the flow meter on a regular basis, it is necessary to follow the operating procedures strictly to avoid mistakes that could cause damage to the meter. (3) In the event of changes in the process system or operating conditions, it is necessary to adjust the parameters of the secondary instruments in a timely manner during operation, in order to avoid measurement errors caused by conversion mistakes.
