As required by the process, an online H2S analyzer needs to be installed. The operating conditions are as follows: 1. Temperature of 155 degrees Celsius; 2. Pressure: 0.26 MPa(G); 3. Composition: 55% H2S, 44% H2, approximately 1% H2O, all on a volume basis. For detection, there are industrial gas chromatographs, ultraviolet fluorescence analyzers, and laser-based online gas analyzers. Gas chromatography analysis is the most accurate method, but its drawback is the long analysis time and high cost. Ultraviolet and laser methods may be affected by various interference factors, which has made me hesitant. I would appreciate some advice from those with more experience; thank you!
Personally, I think as long as the preprocessing is done properly, there isn’t much difference in the analysis phase; the accuracy might vary a bit. We are using ultraviolet light in our case

In Claus desulfurization, the concentration represents the decimal part. A pressure of several thousand pascals, to analyze the ratio of hydrogen sulfide to sulfur dioxide gases. Maintenance mainly involves keeping the sampling tube unblocked and the lens glass clean. And calibration. Neither lasers nor ultraviolet light are very troublesome.
Just ask the analyzer manufacturer; it shouldn’t be difficult to do.
