As required by the process, an online H2S analyzer needs to be installed. The operating conditions are as follows: 1. Temperature of 155 degrees Celsius; 2. Pressure: 0.26 MPa(G); 3. Composition: 55% H2S, 44% H2, approximately 1% H2O, all on a volume basis. For detection, there are industrial gas chromatographs, ultraviolet fluorescence analyzers, and laser-based online gas analyzers. Gas chromatography analysis is the most accurate method, but its drawback is the long analysis time and high cost. Ultraviolet and laser methods may be affected by various interference factors, which has caused some hesitation on my part. I would appreciate it if experts could give me some advice. Thank you!
Laser watches are more suitable for your working conditions.
At present, only the NEO laser analyzer can do this, and there are already relevant achievements in this regard. The highest H2S concentration is 95% or even higher

Industrial gas phase methods are more accurate; UV fluorescence analyzers and laser-based online gas analyzers should work as well, but it’s not clear whether such products exist.
Advantages of industrial gas chromatographs (GC): High separation efficiency: Gas chromatographs are capable of separating and analyzing mixtures with very similar distribution coefficients and boiling points, making them suitable for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex gases containing multiple components. High sensitivity: It can analyze samples at the nanogram level, showing excellent performance in trace analysis. High quantitative accuracy: Thanks to computer control and optimization, gas chromatographs exhibit excellent precision in the routine analysis of trace components. Disadvantages: Long analysis time: Compared to other online analyzers, gas chromatographs may have a longer analysis time. High price: The purchase and maintenance costs of gas chromatographs are usually high. Applicability: Under your operating conditions, due to the high H2S concentration (55% volume percentage) and the presence of other gas components (H2 and H2O), the gas chromatograph can provide accurate quantitative and qualitative analysis. However, the analysis period and cost factors need to be considered. Advantages of UV fluorescence analyzers: High sensitivity: capable of measuring gas concentrations as low as the ppb level. Good selectivity: An appropriate wavelength or band can be selected based on the absorption or emission peak of the target gas, thereby avoiding the influence of other interfering gases. Fast response speed: enables real-time online monitoring. Disadvantages: Interference factors may exist: In some cases, other gas components may interfere with the measurement results of the ultraviolet fluorescence analyzer. Applicability: Under your operating conditions, an ultraviolet fluorescence analyzer can be an option, but it is necessary to carefully evaluate whether H2 and H2O will interfere with the measurement of H2S. Advantages of laser online gas analyzers: Real-time monitoring: Laser gas analyzers have the capability to provide real-time monitoring. High sensitivity: By using a laser light source as the energy source, it is possible to measure gases at low concentrations. Simultaneous monitoring of multiple gases: It is capable of detecting various gas components. Disadvantages: Potential interference factors: Although laser gas analyzers exhibit high selectivity in measuring specific gases, in some cases other gas components or environmental factors may also cause interference. Applicability: Laser online gas analyzers are suitable for applications that require real-time monitoring and rapid response. Under your operating conditions, if the laser gas analyzer has a sufficient response to H2S and H2 and H2O cause little interference, then it can be a good choice.
