Two variables, A and B, are needed to compute the difference; specifically, A (the current value) needs to be subtracted from the value of B from one hour ago. The difference is calculated every 12 minutes and displayed on the screen. The key now is to delay the value of B by one hour. Do you have any programming skills? Please give some advice. Here’s an idea: you can use a timer that triggers once every hour to save this value in an array, with the data in the array being shifted forward every hour
Thank you for your guidance; the problem has been resolved. The DCS system comes with a delay block, allowing the delay time to be set as desired. It’s used relatively little. It is said to be used only in general PID feedforward control. Thank you!
We make it simpler by adding a 60-minute damping to the DACA block and just taking the difference
