It is necessary to provide training on DCS knowledge for new employees of the company; DCS training materials are urgently needed. There is no need to explain the specific configuration aspects of DCS, but rather basic knowledge related to DCS should be covered.

Hi, what I need are course materials on the basic knowledge of DCS – mainly an introduction to DCS, its components, and so on. Operations are not covered; it’s intended for beginners to help them understand what DCS is, what it is used for, and its functions.
Honeywell has a book dedicated to explaining the operator course.
You can look for explanations from programs in measurement and control or instrumentation at certain chemical engineering universities; those only cover the basic aspects.
Is there any? Could some senior share it with me?
Is it for the instrument technician, or for the DCS operator?
