This post was last edited by 18663069001 on 2017-7-13 15:18. What device is sp10002b here? In the second diagram, why are two ball valves and a blind flange used for the backflow prevention here? What is their function? Does a reverse pour require two valves and a blind flange?

On some high-pressure pipelines or equipment (such as pipelines for taking pressure readings from instruments), two valves are used in series to ensure the closing function. Similarly, installing blind flanges also ensures the closing function. Installing the valve along with a blind flange is presumably intended to serve as a flushing port during maintenance work.
