Should 24VDC be connected to 11 (+) and 13 (-), and should the 4–20mA signal be connected to 12 (-) and 13? The signal has no positive or negative distinction, right? Also, if the signal is not used, should 11 (+) and 12 (-) be shorted together? If it’s to be short-circuited, then why short-circuit it?
This needs to be explained by someone with expertise in electrical engineering
24VDC is connected to 11 (+) and 13 (-); 4~20mA signal is connected to 12 and 13. The signal has a positive and negative side, with 12 being the positive side, which must not be shorted under any circumstances. It’s fine if it’s empty.
So what does the (-) in terminal 12(-) mean?
The labeling in the image provided by the original poster is not standard: does the content inside the parentheses after terminal 10# refer only to terminal 10#, or does it also include terminals 11# and 12#? If it is a three-wire instrument, why is terminal 12# marked as (-)?
I’m going to sue the guy on the 4th floor for infringement: lol:lol. Terminal 10 is for protective grounding, which is different from the working ground. Of course, what is meant in the parentheses is 11 and 12; the minus sign indicates two-wire operation.
It’s actually just the wiring for 2-wire and 3-wire systems; just connect it according to the instructions in the diagram. If not necessary, there’s no need to make any short circuits unless otherwise specified.

Two-wire instrument 12+, 13-. Does the 24VDC power supply mean that this device can provide 24VDC internally? .
