Is it necessary to use redundant T8151B communication cards? The Trusted TMR controller module T8110B features triple redundancy, and the power supply as well is redundant. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this configuration? Would a non-redundant 40-channel T84XX card increase the failure rate and the scope of impact in case of failures, due to the large number of channels integrated on it? Would it be better to choose a 16-channel analog card and a 32-channel digital card? Please give me some guidance!
:Lol, the trusted IO card has triple redundancy built in, so there’s no need for additional redundancy on the card, unless you’re really wealthy. Redundancy should be chosen for communication cards, as they do not have triple redundancy built in; if one of them fails, communication will be interrupted. Since it is believed that 40-card systems increase the failure rate and the scope of impact of accidents, it is possible to avoid using the trusted system and instead opt for Emerson’s system, which uses single-card configuration – one card per signal.

The ICS Trust system is produced by Rockwell; Zhongkong acts only as an agent, and it has its own domestic SIS based on the TC-900. As for STMicroelectronics’ SIS, it was the first SIS of its kind in China and still has the best performance today; however, its drawback is that it cannot be installed offline. For devices that are not very important, the SIS in the central control system can be used; it is not recommended to use those from Hollyland. It is still recommended to use imported key devices, such as the mainstream SIS systems like TRICONEX, ICS, and HIMA.
